Holmbury St Mary Music Society

Three exceptional concerts for your diary

Holmbury St Mary Music Society's forthcoming season is definitely not to be missed!

10 November 2007 – Chameleon Brass

Innovative and entertaining, Chameleon Brass is a quintet with a difference. Expect an evening of wit, fun and brilliant music, with a programme ranging from classical to the Broadway musicals.

26 January 2008 – Penelope Cave, Harpsichord

Penelope Cave
Penelope's concert is entitled 'The Goldberg Effect' and she promises to bring Bach's greatest keyboard work to life for us, with readings and commentary between the natural sections. Penelope gives recitals throughout Britain and Europe, and has broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM.

22 March 2008 – The Carducci String Quartet

Recognised as one of Europe's top young string quartets, The Carducci has won prizes at six International competitions. We were enthralled by their last Holmbury concert in 2006 - it's great that they're coming back!
'…the Carducci Quartet were stunning…they are clearly musicians of high intelligence…'
